Just in case you want to know a little something about me.

As you all know I teach at Bruce Randolph. Let me start from the beginning. I graduated from Iver C Ranum high school in 2001. Then came 2 years of playing baseball, and going to school, at Northeastern Oklahoma A&m Junior College. I graduated from NEO with an Associates Degree in General Studies. Then I proceeded on to Emporia State University, in Kansas. I got hurt numerous times and decided that playing baseball was not a good idea anymore. I transfered to Mesa State College, in Grand Junction, where I graduated with a BA in education.

I love teaching. Most of my family is or was in the profession. My oldest brother, Steven, teachings at Grand Junction Central High School, as well as coaches baseball for the college. His wife teaches elementary as well as attempts to keep up with my two nephews, Drew and Brett. My middle brother Troy is a campus minister at Washington University in St. Louis. My future sister-in-law, Emma, lives in St Louis as well. She is the smart one of the family, a patent lawyer. Not to forget my parents; dad teaches elementary P.E. and mom is an administrative assistant.

Although it is not always the case,I try to leave school behind at the end of the day. Every moment is about trying to find a way to enjoy life. In that respect Colorado is an amazing place to live. Hiking, biking, anything outdoors when it is nice out; and skiing when it is not, or at least trying to fall with grace.

Music is a passion. No matter what I am doing, music usually is involved. Granted I can not play a lick but I love listening to it. From Frank Sinatra, good old blue eyes, to Jack Johnson, I pretty much enjoy any kind of music.
